1 MinimaRisk FAQ

1.1 What is MinimaRisk? How to best define it?
MinimaRisk is a Risk Management & Internal Control assessment software. It aims to help organizations to comply with ISO 31000 and COSO, as well as promoting Internal Control assessment, attending Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404, German KonTraG and, Swiss OR 663 (French, German) and OR 728 (French, German) compliance. We deliver MinimaRisk as a web-software, because we believe it offers more benefits to our customers.

1.2 What is SaaS?
The SaaS - Software as a Service business model is impacting the software industry and the way customers acquire business functionality and solutions. In this model, application functionality is delivered through a subscription model over the Internet.
With the SaaS model, you can reduce up-front support costs because you no longer need to support multiple platforms and versions.

1.3 Can I install and customize “on site” MinimaRisk instead of using SaaS?
Yes you can, please contact us for further information at customer@minimarisk.com.

1.4 I am afraid of putting my company’s data in an external server, is MinimaRisk SaaS secure?
Yes it is. MinimaRisk uses the best of breed technologies for security implementations. Since Janaury 2009 MinimaRisk runs entirely on Amazon Web Services platform. Please refer to our security page for the complete list of all security measures which are in place to protect your data.

1.5 How many versions of MinimaRisk are available?
There is only one version and as it is based on SaaS, the last version is always the version you will be using.

1.6 Can I change my subscription at any time?
Yes. We have a specialized team to deal specifically with your needs. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time with no additional handling charges.

1.7 How does licensing works for MinimaRisk?
MinimaRisk works on an on-demand basis, where you can buy only the number of users enough.

1.8 I have 10 users and want to downgrade to 5. Is it possible?
Yes, it is. Please send an e-mail with your request to contact@minimarisk.com.

1.9 Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can. You can do it online or by e-mail to contact@minimarisk.com.

1.10 What types of payments are accepted?
Credit card, Check, Wire transfer and Cash.

1.11 How do I subscribe for more than 50 users?
Simply send an e-mail to contact@minimarisk.com so we can send you a quote with a special offer.

1.12 How long is the subscription contract?
MinimaRisk is a month-to-month subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no fee.

1.13 Can I buy MinimaRisk in any country?
Yes you can. MinimaRisk solutions are being used in over 20 countries around the globe.
